Google Talk – Android 5.0 Lollipop, new Nexus devices and Sony’s presence in the US

Well guys, it’s been quite a while since we posted on here, but we didn’t stop tweeting! But today, let’s talk about a major event that happened on the 15th.

Android 5.0 Lollipop

If you guys heard of Android L back in June, you’ll be proud to hear that it is now officially called Android 5.0 Lollipop! What’s licking inside? Let’s find out.

First of all it’s Material Design. If you still don’t know what it is, it’s their new theme they are basing Android 5.0 on. If you want a visual look at it, here’s a video

Second is the new notification system. You can now see notifications on your lock screen, like iOS, Priority mode, non interrupted notifications and you have control over them.

Next is the new improved battery (Project Volta) finally includes a stock power saver!

Improved security. You can now have separate user accounts on phones and even have a guest account as well now!

New improved quick toggles by two swipes on the status bar.

Support for the new ART runtime and 64 bit SoCs like the Snapdragon 410 we saw in the Galaxy Grand Prime recently

USB Audio support and OpenGL ES 3.1
