There has been rumours that Samsung will be releasing a new Galaxy J series smartphone. It is a lower mid-range phone that is expected to be released by the end of this year.
GSMArena has released the specs of the Galaxy J1 mini. Here is what we know about the Galaxy J1 mini so far.
It has an optional Dual SIM card slot, TFT touchscreen which is 4.3 inches and it supports multi-touch. It runs Android version 5.1 Lollipop. The chipset is Spreadtrum SC8830 powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor and a Mali-400MP2. It has a memory card slot for extra memory. It has 8 GB internal memory with 1 GB RAM. The Galaxy J1 mini has a 5 MP rear camera with a flash and VGA front camera, which isn’t really great if you are a person who takes selfies.
The other details such as battery isn’t confirmed as we will have to wait for the company’s announcement. But we hope the battery and the phone will be able to last longer than other mid-range devices.
If you are a person who just surfs the web or only use a few apps, this phone might be able to do the job for you.
