Sony has announced a new series of Xperia phones at MWC 2016, the Xperia X series.
The Xperia XA is the cheapest offering of the Xperia X line. It packs in a Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 processor, 2 GB RAM, 720p display, 13MP/8MP cameras, 16 GB internal storage and a 2300 mAh battery. The phone will be available in both single and dual SIM variants, depending on your country/region.
The Xperia X sits between the other two X series phones, boasting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, 3 GB RAM, 5″ 1080p display, 32/64 GB internal storage, 23MP/13MP cameras and a 2620 mAh battery. The front 13 MP camera is said to have a 6400ISO, allowing for images in dark settings.
Xperia X Performance
The Xperia X Performance is the top of the line device out of all the X series phones. It comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 5″ 1080p display, 32 GB storage, 3 GB RAM, 23MP/13MP cameras and a 2700 mAh battery.
All of these phones will come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. However they won’t be available until the summer of 2016.
