For those of you who own the Motorola Droid Turbo 2, Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be available and it also gives the owners of the Droid Turbo 2 the chance to play around with Google’s latest OS. It is said that Verizon will be rolling out the update and will have some great features as well.
Some of the features that the update will have is Now on Tap. This feature requires the user to press and hold the home button to receive Google Now results or search results.
The SD card will have two functions, these functions will be portable storage and internal storage. When it is on portable storage it will store music, photos, videos and so on. If it is on internal storage it will basically act like an extension to the device’s native storage, allowing users to get apps and media files as well.
In the new update there will also be a new feature called Doze and App Standby. This basically saves the battery as much as possible by turning off background processes when the device is in idle mode. App standby reduces the apps activity.
The device will also have an attentive display. This is basically another battery saving mode. This turns the phone screen off when the user looks away from it.
All the details are published on the Verizon site as well, so you might want to check that out.
