PlayStation 4 3.50 update to launch today

PS4 PC Remote Play

PlayStation’s 3.50 update for the PS4, is all set to launch today.

New features include the ability to appear offline, notifications when your friend comes online, the ability to schedule events, and broadcasting to Dailymotion.

The update will also include the ability to check PSN status right from the PS4, Teen Account Creation as well as a PlayStation Plus Hub.

One feature we are excited for is the PC/Mac Remote Play. Previously only available on PS Vita, PS TV and Xperia, it has finally come to PC and Mac.

You can play in 360p, 540p and 720p at 30 or 60fps. However you will need to be rocking Windows 8.1, 10 Mac OS 10.10 or 10.11 to use this. Sorry, Windows 7 users.

Once the update launches, the program will be available to download at https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/index.html

As well as these features, PS App has also been updated to 3.50, including the ability to watch Dailymotion streams.

The update is coming today, so head over to Settings on your PS4 to download the update.
