No Man’s Sky has faced a lot of controversy after players found most of the advertised features weren’t available in the game. Sean Murray and the Hello Games team were silent since the controversy started. But now, No Man’s Sky fans may be in for a good treat as the company has announced a major update called the “Foundation Update”.
The update, also known as Update 1.1 “adds the foundations of base building, and is a foundation for things to come” and is a free update.
The update will feature three new game modes. Normal Mode is the original experience, Creative Mode allows players to explore freely without limits and Survival Mode makes it a challenging endurance experience.
Players can also create their own home bases, used for shelter, storage and alien technology research. Farming will also be available in this update, allowing players to grow new resources. Players will also be able to make save points anywhere in the game, as well as Communication Terminals which allow players to leave messages to other explorers.
The game will also feature an updated user interface and a photo mode exclusively for the PS4 version.
So guys, what do you think about this update? Is this update going to change your opinion about the game, Sean Murray and the company? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
