Nexus 6P now facing bootloop issues

Google’s Nexus 5X, manufactured by LG had a defect where it would bootloop after installing Android Nougat. Now it seems like the Huawei Nexus 6P joined the bootlooping club.

The Nexus 6P was previously reported to have battery issues, and now the bootlooping issue is another concern. Like the Nexus 5X, the phone freezes at the Google logo and reboots. This process is repeated until the battery is fully depleted.

Unfortunately there is no known remedy for this problem, however Google confirmed on Reddit that they are aware of the issue.

We understand that a very small number of users are experiencing a bootloop issue on your device. We are continuing to investigate the situation, but can confirm that this is strictly a hardware related issue. For those of you that are currently experiencing this, please contact your place of purchase for warranty or repair options.
